This project focused on introducing a new form of Esports betting at Retabet, a leading online gambling platform. The objective was to create a dedicated environment on the website for Esports betting, providing an immersive and tailored experience for users. By implementing this new betting format, we aimed to tap into the growing popularity of Esports and attract a wider audience of gamers and Esports enthusiasts.

With the increasing popularity of Esports, Retabet recognized the opportunity to cater to the growing demand for Esports betting. However, the existing platform did not offer a dedicated environment for Esports betting, resulting in a disjointed user experience. The challenge was to design and implement a new betting format that would provide Esports enthusiasts with a comprehensive and immersive betting experience tailored specifically to their needs.
The main challenge was to create a distinct and immersive Esports betting environment within the Retabet platform. The goal was to provide a seamless and intuitive interface for users, enabling them to explore Esports events, place bets, and engage with the Esports community in a meaningful way.
To address the challenge, we adopted a user-centered design approach. We conducted extensive research to gain insights into the preferences, habits, and motivations of Esports enthusiasts. This research guided our decision-making process, ensuring that the new Esports betting environment met the expectations and requirements of the target audience.
Through user interviews, surveys, and market analysis, we gained a deep understanding of the Esports community, their preferences, and their engagement patterns. This research helped us identify the specific needs and pain points of Esports bettors, informing the design of the new betting environment.
Audit of Esports Section: We conducted a thorough audit of the existing Esports section to identify the issues and areas for improvement. This audit helped us uncover usability challenges, lack of relevant information, and opportunities to enhance the betting experience for Esports enthusiasts.
Based on the research findings, we developed wireframes and prototypes for the new Esports betting environment. These visual representations allowed us to iterate and refine the design, incorporating the necessary improvements to create an immersive and user-friendly interface.
The Improvements:
Dedicated Esports section: We created a separate section within the Retabet platform exclusively for Esports betting, offering easy access to Esports events, live streams, and community features.
Enhanced event discovery: Users could browse and search for upcoming Esports matches and tournaments, with comprehensive event information and statistics.
Customized betting options: We introduced a variety of Esports-specific betting options, such as map outcomes, player performances, and in-game objectives, to provide more engaging and tailored betting experiences.
Social and community integration: Users could interact with other Esports enthusiasts, join discussions, and share their predictions and insights, fostering a sense of community within the betting environment.
The introduction of the new Esports betting section resulted in a significant increase in user engagement and conversion rates.
